Creating a Playlist

  1. What playlist formats do you support?

SoniqCast supports the following playlist formats:

  2. Aireo also plays MP3Pro, but the quality of the sound may be lower than expected.

Note: SoniqCast does not currently support copying write-protected material to Aireo. Some PLMs (for example, Windows Media Player) ask you to enable the copy protect feature when you first copy music to the PLM and create a playlist. If you selected an option to copy protect the music, SoniqSync will not be able to copy the playlist to your player. You can disable the optional copy protect feature through the PLM. See the online help associated with the PLM for more information on disabling the optional copy protect feature.

  3. Do you support DRM-protected media?

We currently do not support media using Digital Rights Management (DRM) on Aireo.  Check the www.soniqcast.com web site for the latest features and product updates.

  4. A song appears on my Aireo player, but Aireo does not play the song. When I listen to a playlist containing the song, Aireo skips past the song. When I try to play only that song, Aireo does not play it. Why can't Aireo play my song?

The following conditions may exist that prevent Aireo from playing the song:

  5. Remove the song from your playlist.

  6. How do I create a playlist using Musicmatch Jukebox?

The following procedure describes the basic steps for creating a playlist from a CD using Musicmatch Jukebox. Note that you cannot create a playlist through SoniqSync. The clip that you add to My Favorites must originate from the PC you are syncing (connecting) with and it must be added through SoniqSync.
